NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
For the choir director. A Psalm of David. In You, O LORD, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed; In Your righteousness deliver me.1 In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.1 In thee, O Jehovah, do I take refuge; Let me never be put to shame: Deliver me in thy righteousness.1 Unto the end, a psalm for David, in an ecstasy. In thee, O Lord, have I hoped, Iet me never be confounded: deliver me in thy justice. 1 To the Overseer. -- A Psalm of David. In Thee, O Jehovah, I have trusted, Let me not be ashamed to the age, In Thy righteousness deliver me.
Incline Your ear to me, rescue me quickly; Be to me a rock of strength, A stronghold to save me.2 Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.2 Bow down thine ear unto me; deliver me speedily: Be thou to me a strong rock, A house of defence to save me.2 Bow down thy ear to me: make haste to deliver me. Be thou unto me a God, a protector, and a house of refuge, to save me. 2 Incline unto me Thine ear hastily, deliver me, Be to me for a strong rock, For a house of bulwarks to save me.
For You are my rock and my fortress; For Your name's sake You will lead me and guide me.3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; Therefore for thy name's sake lead me and guide me.3 For thou art my strength and my refuge; and for thy name's sake thou wilt lead me, and nourish me. 3 For my rock and my bulwark art Thou, For Thy name's sake lead me and tend me.
You will pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me, For You are my strength.4 Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.4 Pluck me out of the net that they have laid privily for me; For thou art my stronghold.4 Thou wilt bring me out of this snare, which they have hidden for me: for thou art my protector. 4 Bring me out from the net that they hid for me, For Thou art my strength.
Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have ransomed me, O LORD, God of truth.5 Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.5 Into thy hand I commend my spirit: Thou hast redeemed me, O Jehovah, thou God of truth.5 Into thy hands I commend my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord, the God of truth. 5 Into Thy hand I commit my spirit, Thou hast redeemed me, Jehovah God of truth.
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
I hate those who regard vain idols, But I trust in the LORD.6 I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.6 I hate them that regard lying vanities; But I trust in Jehovah.6 Thou hast hated them that regard vanities, to no purpose. But I have hoped in the Lord: 6 I have hated the observers of lying vanities, And I toward Jehovah have been confident.
I will rejoice and be glad in Your lovingkindness, Because You have seen my affliction; You have known the troubles of my soul,7 I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;7 I will be glad and rejoice in thy lovingkindness; For thou hast seen my affliction: Thou hast known my soul in adversities;7 I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy. For thou best regarded my humility, thou hast saved my soul out of distresses. 7 I rejoice, and am glad in Thy kindness, In that Thou hast seen mine affliction, Thou hast known in adversities my soul.
And You have not given me over into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a large place.8 And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.8 And thou hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; Thou hast set my feet in a large place.8 And thou hast not shut me up in the hands of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a spacious place. 8 And Thou hast not shut me up, Into the hand of an enemy, Thou hast caused my feet to stand in a broad place.
Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am in distress; My eye is wasted away from grief, my soul and my body also.9 Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.9 Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah, for I am in distress: Mine eye wasteth away with grief, yea , my soul and my body.9 Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am afflicted: my eye is troubled with wrath, my soul, and my belly: 9 Favour me, O Jehovah, for distress is to me, Mine eye, my soul, and my body Have become old by provocation.
For my life is spent with sorrow And my years with sighing; My strength has failed because of my iniquity, And my body has wasted away.10 For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed.10 For my life is spent with sorrow, And my years with sighing: My strength faileth because of mine iniquity, And my bones are wasted away.10 For my life is wasted with grief: and my years in sighs. My strength is weakened through poverty and my bones are disturbed. 10 For my life hath been consumed in sorrow And my years in sighing. Feeble because of mine iniquity hath been my strength, And my bones have become old.
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
Because of all my adversaries, I have become a reproach, Especially to my neighbors, And an object of dread to my acquaintances; Those who see me in the street flee from me.11 I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me.11 Because of all mine adversaries I am become a reproach, Yea, unto my neighbors exceedingly, And a fear to mine acquaintance: They that did see me without fled from me.11 I am become a reproach among all my enemies, and very much to my neighbours; and a fear to my acquaintance. They that saw me without fled from me. 11 Among all mine adversaries I have been a reproach, And to my neighbours exceedingly, And a fear to mine acquaintances, Those seeing me without -- fled from me.
I am forgotten as a dead man, out of mind; I am like a broken vessel.12 I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.12 I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.12 I am forgotten as one dead from the heart. I am become as a vessel that is destroyed. 12 I have been forgotten as dead out of mind, I have been as a perishing vessel.
For I have heard the slander of many, Terror is on every side; While they took counsel together against me, They schemed to take away my life.13 For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.13 For I have heard the defaming of many, Terror on every side: While they took counsel together against me, They devised to take away my life.13 For I have heard the blame of many that dwell round about. While they assembled together against me, they consulted to take away my life. 13 For I have heard an evil account of many, Fear is round about. In their being united against me, To take my life they have devised,
But as for me, I trust in You, O LORD, I say, "You are my God."14 But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God.14 But I trusted in thee, O Jehovah: I said, Thou art my God.14 But I have put my trust in thee, O Lord: I said: Thou art my God. 14 And I on Thee -- I have trusted, O Jehovah, I have said, 'Thou art my God.'
My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me.15 My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.15 My times are in thy hand: Deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.15 My lots are in thy hands. Deliver me out of the hands of my enemies; and from them that persecute me. 15 In Thy hand are my times, Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, And from my pursuers.
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
Make Your face to shine upon Your servant; Save me in Your lovingkindness.16 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake.16 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: Save me in thy lovingkindness.16 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; save me in thy mercy. 16 Cause Thy face to shine on Thy servant, Save me in Thy kindness.
Let me not be put to shame, O LORD, for I call upon You; Let the wicked be put to shame, let them be silent in Sheol.17 Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.17 Let me not be put to shame, O Jehovah; for I have called upon thee: Let the wicked be put to shame, let them be silent in Sheol.17 Let me not be confounded, O Lord, for I have called upon thee. Let the wicked be ashamed, and be brought down to hell. 17 O Jehovah, let me not be ashamed, For I have called Thee, let the wicked be ashamed, Let them become silent to Sheol.
Let the lying lips be mute, Which speak arrogantly against the righteous With pride and contempt.18 Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.18 Let the lying lips be dumb, Which speak against the righteous insolently, With pride and contempt.18 Let deceitful lips be made dumb. Which speak iniquity against the just, with pride and abuse. 18 Let lips of falsehood become dumb, That are speaking against the righteous, Ancient sayings, in pride and contempt.
How great is Your goodness, Which You have stored up for those who fear You, Which You have wrought for those who take refuge in You, Before the sons of men!19 Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!19 Oh how great is thy goodness, Which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee, Which thou hast wrought for them that take refuge in thee, Before the sons of men!19 O how great is the multitude of thy sweetness, O Lord, which thou hast hidden for them that fear thee! Which thou hast wrought for them that hope in thee, in the sight of the sons of men. 19 How abundant is Thy goodness, That Thou hast laid up for those fearing Thee,
You hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the conspiracies of man; You keep them secretly in a shelter from the strife of tongues.20 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.20 In the covert of thy presence wilt thou hide them from the plottings of man: Thou wilt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.20 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy face, from the disturbance of men. Thou shalt protect them in thy tabernacle from the contradiction of tongues. 20 Thou hast wrought for those trusting in Thee, Before sons of men. Thou hidest them in the secret place of Thy presence, From artifices of man, Thou concealest them in a tabernacle, From the strife of tongues.
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
Blessed be the LORD, For He has made marvelous His lovingkindness to me in a besieged city.21 Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.21 Blessed be Jehovah; For he hath showed me his marvellous lovingkindness in a strong city.21 Blessed be the Lord, for he hath shewn his wonderful mercy to me in a fortified city. 21 Blessed is Jehovah, For He hath made marvellous His kindness To me in a city of bulwarks.
As for me, I said in my alarm, "I am cut off from before Your eyes"; Nevertheless You heard the voice of my supplications When I cried to You.22 For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.22 As for me, I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: Nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications When I cried unto thee.22 But I said in the excess of my mind: I am cast away from before thy eyes. Therefore thou hast heard the voice of my prayer, when I cried to thee. 22 And I -- I have said in my haste, 'I have been cut off from before Thine eyes,' But Thou hast heard the voice of my supplications, In my crying unto Thee.
O love the LORD, all you His godly ones! The LORD preserves the faithful And fully recompenses the proud doer.23 O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.23 Oh love Jehovah, all ye his saints: Jehovah preserveth the faithful, And plentifully rewardeth him that dealeth proudly.23 O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord will require truth, and will repay them abundantly that act proudly. 23 Love Jehovah, all ye His saints, Jehovah is keeping the faithful, And recompensing abundantly a proud doer.
Be strong and let your heart take courage, All you who hope in the LORD.24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.24 Be strong, and let your heart take courage, All ye that hope in Jehovah. 24 Do ye manfully, and let your heart be strengthened, all ye that hope in the Lord. 24 Be strong, and He strengtheneth your heart, All ye who are waiting for Jehovah!
