| 1 For the choir director. A Psalm of the sons of Korah, set to Alamoth. A Song. God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. | 1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. | 1 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. | 1 Unto the end, for the sons of Core, for the hidden. Our God is our refuge and strength: a helper in troubles, which have found us exceedingly. | 1 To the Overseer. -- By sons of Korah. 'For the Virgins.' -- A song. God is to us a refuge and strength, A help in adversities found most surely. | 2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change And though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; | 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; | 2 Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change, And though the mountains be shaken into the heart of the seas; | 2 Therefore we will not fear, when the earth shall be troubled; and the mountains shall be removed into the heart of the sea. | 2 Therefore we fear not in the changing of earth, And in the slipping of mountains Into the heart of the seas. | 3 Though its waters roar and foam, Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah. | 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. | 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, Though the mountains tremble with the swelling thereof. Selah | 3 Their waters roared and were troubled: the mountains were troubled with his strength. | 3 Roar -- troubled are its waters, Mountains they shake in its pride. Selah. | 4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, The holy dwelling places of the Most High. | 4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. | 4 There is a river, the streams whereof make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High. | 4 The stream of the river maketh the city of God joyful: the most High hath sanctified his own tabernacle. | 4 A river -- its rivulets rejoice the city of God, Thy holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High. | 5 God is in the midst of her, she will not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns. | 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. | 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God will help her, and that right early. | 5 God is in the midst thereof, it shall not be moved: God will help it in the morning early. | 5 God is in her midst -- she is not moved, God doth help her at the turn of the morn! | NASB | KJV | ASV | DRB | YLT |
