O LORD, the God of my salvation, I have cried out by day and in the night before You.1 O lord God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before thee:1 O Jehovah, the God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before thee.1 A canticle of a psalm for the sons of Core: unto the end, for Maheleth, to answer understanding of Eman the Ezrahite. O Lord, the God of my salvation: I have cried in the day, and in the night before thee. 1 A Song, a Psalm, by sons of Korah, to the Overseer, 'Concerning the Sickness of Afflictions.' -- An instruction, by Heman the Ezrahite. O Jehovah, God of my salvation, Daily I have cried, nightly before Thee,
2 Let my prayer come before You; Incline Your ear to my cry!2 Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry;2 Let my prayer enter into thy presence; Incline thine ear unto my cry.2 Let my prayer come in before thee: incline thy ear to my petition. 2 My prayer cometh in before Thee, Incline Thine ear to my loud cry,
3 For my soul has had enough troubles, And my life has drawn near to Sheol.3 For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave.3 For my soul is full of troubles, And my life draweth nigh unto Sheol.3 For my soul is filled with evils: and my life hath drawn nigh to hell. 3 For my soul hath been full of evils, And my life hath come to Sheol.
4 I am reckoned among those who go down to the pit; I have become like a man without strength,4 I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man that hath no strength:4 I am reckoned with them that go down into the pit; I am as a man that hath no help,4 I am counted among them that go down to the pit: I am become as a man without help, 4 I have been reckoned with those going down to the pit, I have been as a man without strength.
5 Forsaken among the dead, Like the slain who lie in the grave, Whom You remember no more, And they are cut off from Your hand.5 Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more: and they are cut off from thy hand.5 Cast off among the dead, Like the slain that lie in the grave, Whom thou rememberest no more, And they are cut off from thy hand.5 free among the dead. Like the slain sleeping in the sepulchres, whom thou rememberest no more: and they are cast off from thy hand. 5 Among the dead -- free, As pierced ones lying in the grave, Whom Thou hast not remembered any more, Yea, they by Thy hand have been cut off.

9 My eye has wasted away because of affliction; I have called upon You every day, O LORD; I have spread out my hands to You.9 Mine eye mourneth by reason of affliction: LORD, I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee.9 Mine eye wasteth away by reason of affliction: I have called daily upon thee, O Jehovah; I have spread forth my hands unto thee.9 my eyes languished through poverty. All the day I cried to thee, O Lord: I stretched out my hands to thee. 9 Mine eye hath grieved because of affliction, I called Thee, O Jehovah, all the day, I have spread out unto Thee my hands.
10 Will You perform wonders for the dead? Will the departed spirits rise and praise You? Selah.10 Wilt thou shew wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise and praise thee? Selah.10 Wilt thou show wonders to the dead? Shall they that are decreased arise and praise thee? Selah10 Wilt thou shew wonders to the dead? or shall physicians raise to life, and give praise to thee? 10 To the dead dost Thou do wonders? Do Rephaim rise? do they thank Thee? Selah.

11 Will Your lovingkindness be declared in the grave, Your faithfulness in Abaddon?11 Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave? or thy faithfulness in destruction?11 Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave? 12 Will Your wonders be made known in the darkness? And Your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?12 Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?12 Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? 14 O LORD, why do You reject my soul? Why do You hide Your face from me?14 LORD, why castest thou off my soul? why hidest thou thy face from me?14 Jehovah, why castest thou off my soul? Why hidest thou thy face from me?14 Lord, why castest thou off my prayer: why turnest thou away thy face from me? 14 Why, O Jehovah, castest Thou off my soul? Thou hidest Thy face from me.
