| 1 A Maskil of Ethan the Ezrahite. I will sing of the lovingkindness of the LORD forever; To all generations I will make known Your faithfulness with my mouth. | 1 I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. | 1 I will sing of the lovingkindness of Jehovah for ever: With my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. | 1 Of understanding, for Ethan the Ezrahite. The mercies of the Lord I will sing for ever. I will shew forth thy truth with my mouth to generation and generation. | 1 An instruction, by Ethan the Ezrahite. Of the kind acts of Jehovah, to the age I sing, To all generations I make known Thy faithfulness with my mouth, | 2 For I have said, "Lovingkindness will be built up forever; In the heavens You will establish Your faithfulness." | 2 For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens. | 2 For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever; Thy faithfulness wilt thou establish in the very heavens. | 2 For thou hast said: Mercy shall be built up for ever in the heavens: thy truth shall be prepared in them. | 2 For I said, 'To the age is kindness built, The heavens! Thou dost establish Thy faithfulness in them.' | 3 "I have made a covenant with My chosen; I have sworn to David My servant, | 3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, | 3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant: | 3 I have made a covenant with my elect: I have sworn to David my servant: | 3 I have made a covenant for My chosen, I have sworn to David My servant: | 4 I will establish your seed forever And build up your throne to all generations." Selah. | 4 Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah. | 4 Thy seed will I establish for ever, And build up thy throne to all generations. Selah | 4 Thy seed will I settle for ever. And I will build up thy throne unto generation and generation. | 4 'Even to the age do I establish thy seed, And have built to generation and generation thy throne. Selah. | 5 The heavens will praise Your wonders, O LORD; Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones. | 5 And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints. | 5 And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Jehovah; Thy faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones. | 5 The heavens shall confess thy wonders, O Lord: and thy truth in the church of the saints. | 5 and the heavens confess Thy wonders, O Jehovah, Thy faithfulness also is in an assembly of holy ones. | NASB | KJV | ASV | DRB | YLT |
| 6 For who in the skies is comparable to the LORD? Who among the sons of the mighty is like the LORD, | 6 For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD? | 6 For who in the skies can be compared unto Jehovah? Who among the sons of the mighty is like unto Jehovah, | 6 For who in the clouds can be compared to the Lord: or who among the sons of God shall be like to God? | 6 For who in the sky, Compareth himself to Jehovah? Is like to Jehovah among sons of the mighty? | 7 A God greatly feared in the council of the holy ones, And awesome above all those who are around Him? | 7 God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him. | 7 A God very terrible in the council of the holy ones, And to be feared above all them that are round about him? | 7 God, who is glorified in the assembly of the saints: great and terrible above all them that are about him. | 7 God is very terrible, In the secret counsel of His holy ones, And fearful over all surrounding Him. | 8 O LORD God of hosts, who is like You, O mighty LORD? Your faithfulness also surrounds You. | 8 O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee? | 8 O Jehovah God of hosts, Who is a mighty one, like unto thee, O Jehovah? And thy faithfulness is round about thee. | 8 O Lord God of hosts, who is like to thee? thou art mighty, O Lord, and thy truth is round about thee. | 8 O Jehovah, God of Hosts, Who is like Thee -- a strong Jah? And Thy faithfulness is round about Thee. | 9 You rule the swelling of the sea; When its waves rise, You still them. | 9 Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them. | 9 Thou rulest the pride of the sea: When the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them. | 9 Thou rulest the power of the sea: and appeasest the motion of the waves thereof. | 9 Thou art ruler over the pride of the sea, In the lifting up of its billows Thou dost restrain them. | 10 You Yourself crushed Rahab like one who is slain; You scattered Your enemies with Your mighty arm. | 10 Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm. | 10 Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; Thou hast scattered thine enemies with the arm of thy strength. | 10 Thou hast humbled the proud one, as one that is slain: with the arm of thy strength thou hast scattered thy enemies. | 10 Thou hast bruised Rahab, as one wounded. With the arm of Thy strength Thou hast scattered Thine enemies. | NASB | KJV | ASV | DRB | YLT |

Thabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name: | 12 North and south Thou hast appointed them, Tabor and Hermon in Thy name do sing. | 13 You have a strong arm; Your hand is mighty, Your right hand is exalted. | 13 Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand. | 13 Thou hast a mighty arm; Strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand. | 13 thy arm is with might. Let thy hand be strengthened, and thy right hand exalted: | 13 Thou hast an arm with might, Strong is Thy hand -- high Thy right hand. | 14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Lovingkindness and truth go before You. | 14 Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face. | 14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of thy throne: Lovingkindness and truth go before thy face. | 14 justice and judgment are the preparation of thy throne. Mercy and truth shall go before thy face: | 14 Righteousness and judgment Are the fixed place of Thy throne, Kindness and truth go before Thy face. | 15 How blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! O LORD, they walk in the light of Your countenance. | 15 Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance. | 15 Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: They walk, O Jehovah, in the light of thy countenance. | 15 blessed is the people that knoweth jubilation.
