| 1 A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in the LORD Are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abides forever. | 1 They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. | 1 They that trust in Jehovah Are as mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abideth for ever. | 1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Sion: he shall not be moved for ever that dwelleth | 1 A Song of the Ascents. Those trusting in Jehovah are as Mount Zion, It is not moved -- to the age it abideth. | 2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the LORD surrounds His people From this time forth and forever. | 2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever. | 2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, So Jehovah is round about his people From this time forth and for evermore. | 2 in Jerusalem. Mountains are round about it: so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth now and for ever. | 2 Jerusalem! mountains are round about her, And Jehovah is round about His people, From henceforth even unto the age. | 3 For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest upon the land of the righteous, So that the righteous will not put forth their hands to do wrong. | 3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity. | 3 For the sceptre of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; That the righteous put not forth their hands unto iniquity. | 3 For the Lord will not leave the rod of sinners upon the lot of the just: that the just may not stretch forth their hands to iniquity. | 3 For the rod of wickedness resteth not On the lot of the righteous, That the righteous put not forth on iniquity their hands. | 4 Do good, O LORD, to those who are good And to those who are upright in their hearts. | 4 Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts. | 4 Do good, O Jehovah, unto those that are good, And to them that are upright in their hearts. | 4 Do good, O Lord, to those that are good, and to the upright of heart. | 4 Do good, O Jehovah, to the good, And to the upright in their hearts. | 5 But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, The LORD will lead them away with the doers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel. | 5 As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel. | 5 But as for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, Jehovah will lead them forth with the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel. | 5 But such as turn aside into bonds, the Lord shall lead out with the workers of iniquity: peace upon Israel. | 5 As to those turning to their crooked ways, Jehovah causeth them to go with workers of iniquity. Peace on Israel! |
