| 1 For the choir director. A Psalm of David. The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, they have committed abominable deeds; There is no one who does good. | 1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. | 1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. The fool hath said in his heart: There is no God, They are corrupt, and are become abominable in their ways: there is none that doth good, no not one. | 1 To the Overseer. -- By David. A fool hath said in his heart, 'God is not;' They have done corruptly, They have done abominable actions, There is not a doer of good. | 2 The LORD has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men To see if there are any who understand, Who seek after God. | 2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. | 2 Jehovah looked down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there were any that did understand, That did seek after God. | 2 The Lord hath looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there be any that understand and seek God. | 2 Jehovah from the heavens Hath looked on the sons of men, To see if there is a wise one -- seeking God. | 3 They have all turned aside, together they have become corrupt; There is no one who does good, not even one. | 3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. | 3 They are all gone aside; they are together become filthy; There is none that doeth good, no, not one. | 3 They are all gone aside, they are become unprofitable together: there is none that doth good, no not one. Destruction and unhappiness in their ways: and the way of peace they have not known: there is no fear of God before their eyes. | 3 The whole have turned aside, Together they have been filthy: There is not a doer of good, not even one. | 4 Do all the workers of wickedness not know, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And do not call upon the Lord? | 4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD. | 4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And call not upon Jehovah? | 4 Shall not all they know that work iniquity, who devour my people as they eat bread ? | 4 Have all working iniquity not known? Those consuming my people have eaten bread, Jehovah they have not called. | 5 There they are in great dread, For God is with the righteous generation. | 5 There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous. | 5 There were they in great fear; For God is in the generation of the righteous. | 5 They have not called upon the Lord: there have they trembled for fear, where there was no fear. | 5 There they have feared a fear, For God is in the generation of the righteous. | NASB | KJV | ASV | DRB | YLT |

When the LORD restores His captive people, Jacob will rejoice, Israel will be glad. | 7 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad. | 7 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When Jehovah bringeth back the captivity of his people, Then shall Jacob rejoice, and Israel shall be glad. | 7 Who shall give out of Sion the salvation of Israel? when the Lord shall have turned away the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice and Israel shall be glad. | 7 Who doth give from Zion the salvation of Israel? When Jehovah doth turn back To a captivity of His people, Jacob doth rejoice -- Israel is glad! |
