Prayer of an Old Man for Deliverance.

1 In You, O LORD, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed.1 In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.1 In thee, O Jehovah, do I take refuge: Let me never be put to shame.1 A psalm for David. Of the sons of Jonadab, and the former captives. In thee, O Lord, I have hoped, let me never be put to confusion: 1 In Thee, O Jehovah, I have trusted, Let me not be ashamed to the age.
2 In Your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; Incline Your ear to me and save me.2 Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.2 Deliver me in thy righteousness, and rescue me: Bow down thine ear unto me, and save me.2 deliver me in thy justice, and rescue me. Incline thy ear unto me, and save me. 2 In Thy righteousness Thou dost deliver me, And dost cause me to escape, Incline unto me Thine ear, and save me.
3 Be to me a rock of habitation to which I may continually come; You have given commandment to save me, For You are my rock and my fortress.3 Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.3 Be thou to me a rock of habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: Thou hast given commandment to save me; For thou art my rock and my fortress.3 Be thou unto me a God, a protector, and a place of strength: that thou mayst make me safe. 4 Rescue me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, Out of the grasp of the wrongdoer and ruthless man,4 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.4 Rescue me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, Out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.4 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the sinner, and out of the hand of the transgressor of the law and of the unjust. 4 O my God, cause me to escape From the hand of the wicked, From the hand of the perverse and violent.
5 For You are my hope; O Lord GOD, You are my confidence from my youth.5 For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth.5 For thou art my hope, O Lord Jehovah: Thou art my trust from my youth.5 For thou art my patience, O Lord: my hope, O Lord, from my youth; 5 For Thou art my hope, O Lord Jehovah, My trust from my youth.

19 For Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the heavens, You who have done great things; O God, who is like You?19 Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee!19 Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high; Thou who hast done great things, O God, who is like unto thee?19 and thy justice, O God, even to the highest great things thou hast done: O God, who is like to thee? 19 And Thy righteousness, O God, is unto the heights, Because Thou hast done great things, O God, who is like Thee?
20 You who have shown me many troubles and distresses Will revive me again, And will bring me up again from the depths of the earth.20 Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.20 Thou, who hast showed us many and sore troubles, Wilt quicken us again, And wilt bring us up again from the depths of the earth.20 How great troubles hast thou shewn me, many and grievous: and turning thou hast brought me to life, and hast brought me back again from the depths of the earth : 20 Because Thou hast showed me many and sad distresses, Thou turnest back -- Thou revivest me, And from the depths of the earth, Thou turnest back -- Thou bringest me up.
