The Reign of the Righteous King.A Psalm of Solomon.
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
1 A Psalm of Solomon. Give the king Your judgments, O God, And Your righteousness to the king's son.1 Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.1 Give the king thy judgments, O God, And thy righteousness unto the king's son.1 A psalm on Solomon. 1 By Solomon. O God, Thy judgments to the king give, And Thy righteousness to the king's son.
2 May he judge Your people with righteousness And Your afflicted with justice.2 He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.2 He will judge thy people with righteousness, And thy poor with justice.2 Give to the king thy judgment, O God: and to the king's son thy justice: To judge thy people with justice, and thy poor with judgment. 2 He judgeth Thy people with righteousness, And Thy poor with judgment.
3 Let the mountains bring peace to the people, And the hills, in righteousness.3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, And the hills, in righteousness.3 Let the mountains receive peace for the people: and the hills justice. 3 The mountains bear peace to the people, And the heights by righteousness.
4 May he vindicate the afflicted of the people, Save the children of the needy And crush the oppressor.4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.4 He will judge the poor of the people, He will save the children of the needy, And will break in pieces the oppressor.4 He shall judge the poor of the people, and he shall save the children of the poor: and he shall humble the oppressor. 4 He judgeth the poor of the people, Giveth deliverance to the sons of the needy, And bruiseth the oppressor.
5 Let them fear You while the sun endures, And as long as the moon, throughout all generations.5 They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.5 They shall fear thee while the sun endureth, And so long as the moon, throughout all generations.5 And he shall continue with the sun, and before the moon, throughout all generations. 5 They fear Thee with the sun, and before the moon, Generation -- generations.
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
6 May he come down like rain upon the mown grass, Like showers that water the earth.6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.6 He will come down like rain upon the mown grass, As showers that water the earth.6 He shall come down like rain upon the fleece; and as showers falling gently upon the earth. 6 He cometh down as rain on mown grass, As showers -- sprinkling the earth.
7 In his days may the righteous flourish, And abundance of peace till the moon is no more.7 In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.7 In his days shall the righteous flourish, And abundance of peace, till the moon be no more.7 In his days shall justice spring up, and abundance of peace, till the moon be taken sway. 7 Flourish in his days doth the righteous, And abundance of peace till the moon is not.
8 May he also rule from sea to sea And from the River to the ends of the earth.8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, And from the River unto the ends of the earth.8 And he shall rule from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth. 8 And he ruleth from sea unto sea, And from the river unto the ends of earth.
9 Let the nomads of the desert bow before him, And his enemies lick the dust.9 They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.9 They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; And his enemies shall lick the dust.9 Before him the Ethiopians shall fall down: and his enemies shall lick the ground. 9 Before him bow do the inhabitants of the dry places, And his enemies lick the dust.
10 Let the kings of Tarshish and of the islands bring presents; The kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts.10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall render tribute: The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.10 The kings of Tharsis and the islands shall offer presents: the kings of the Arabians and of Saba shall bring gifts: 10 Kings of Tarshish and of the isles send back a present. Kings of Sheba and Seba a reward bring near.
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
11 And let all kings bow down before him, All nations serve him.11 Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.11 Yea, all kings shall fall down before him; All nations shall serve him.11 And all kings of the earth shall adore him: all nations shall serve him. 11 And all kings do bow themselves to him, All nations do serve him,
12 For he will deliver the needy when he cries for help, The afflicted also, and him who has no helper.12 For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.12 For he will deliver the needy when he crieth, And the poor, that hath no helper.12 For he shall deliver the poor from the mighty: and the needy that had no helper. 12 For he delivereth the needy who crieth, And the poor when he hath no helper,
13 He will have compassion on the poor and needy, And the lives of the needy he will save.13 He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.13 He will have pity on the poor and needy, And the souls of the needy he will save.13 He shall spare the poor and needy: and he shall save the souls of the poor. 13 He hath pity on the poor and needy, And the souls of the needy he saveth,
14 He will rescue their life from oppression and violence, And their blood will be precious in his sight;14 He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.14 He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence; And precious will their blood be in his sight:14 He shall redeem their souls from usuries and iniquity: and their names shall be honourable in his sight. 14 From fraud and from violence he redeemeth their soul, And precious is their blood in his eyes.
15 So may he live, and may the gold of Sheba be given to him; And let them pray for him continually; Let them bless him all day long.15 And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.15 And they shall live; and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: And men shall pray for him continually; They shall bless him all the day long.15 And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Arabia, for him they shall always adore: they shall bless him all the day. 15 And he liveth, and giveth to him of the gold of Sheba, And prayeth for him continually, All the day he doth bless him.
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
16 May there be abundance of grain in the earth on top of the mountains; Its fruit will wave like the cedars of Lebanon; And may those from the city flourish like vegetation of the earth.16 There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.16 There shall be abundance of grain in the earth upon the top of the mountains; The fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: And they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.16 And there shall be a firmament on the earth on the tops of mountains, above Libanus shall the fruit thereof be exalted : and they of the city shall flourish like the grass of the earth. 16 There is a handful of corn in the earth, On the top of mountains, Shake like Lebanon doth its fruit, And they flourish out of the city as the herb of the earth.
