| 1 A Psalm of David. Blessed be the LORD, my rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle; | 1 Blessed be the LORD my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight: | 1 Blessed be Jehovah my rock, Who teacheth my hands to war, And my fingers to fight: | 1 Blessed be the Lord my God, who teacheth my hands to fight, and my fingers to war. | 1 By David. Blessed is Jehovah my rock, who is teaching My hands for war, my fingers for battle. | 2 My lovingkindness and my fortress, My stronghold and my deliverer, My shield and He in whom I take refuge, Who subdues my people under me. | 2 My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me. | 2 My lovingkindness, and my fortress, My high tower, and my deliverer; My shield, and he in whom I take refuge; Who subdueth my people under me. | 2 My mercy, and my refuge: my support, and my deliverer: My protector, and I have hoped in him: who subdueth my people under me. | 2 My kind one, and my bulwark, My tower, and my deliverer, My shield, and in whom I have trusted, Who is subduing my people under me! | 3 O LORD, what is man, that You take knowledge of him? Or the son of man, that You think of him? | 3 LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him! | 3 Jehovah, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him? Or the son of man, that thou makest account of him? | 3 Lord, what is man, that thou art made known to him? or the son of man, that thou makest account of him? | 3 Jehovah, what is man that Thou knowest him? Son of man, that Thou esteemest him? | 4 Man is like a mere breath; His days are like a passing shadow. | 4 Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away. | 4 Man is like to vanity: His days are as a shadow that passeth away. | 4 Man is like to vanity: his days pass away like a shadow. | 4 Man to vanity hath been like, His days are as a shadow passing by. | 5 Bow Your heavens, O LORD, and come down; Touch the mountains, that they may smoke. | 5 Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke. | 5 Bow thy heavens, O Jehovah, and come down: Touch the mountains, and they shall smoke. | 5 Lord, bow down thy heavens and descend: touch the mountains and they shall smoke. | 5 Jehovah, incline Thy heavens and come down, Strike against mountains, and they smoke. | NASB | KJV | ASV | DRB | YLT |

| 11 Rescue me and deliver me out of the hand of aliens, Whose mouth speaks deceit And whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood. | 11 Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood: | 11 Rescue me, and deliver me out of the hand of aliens, Whose mouth speaketh deceit, And whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood. | 11 Deliver me, And rescue me out of the hand of strange children; whose mouth hath spoken vanity: and their right hand is the right hand of iniquity: | 11 Free me, and deliver me From the hand of sons of a stranger, Because their mouth hath spoken vanity, And their right hand is a right hand of falsehood, | 12 Let our sons in their youth be as grown-up plants, And our daughters as corner pillars fashioned as for a palace; | 12 That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace: | 12 When our sons shall be as plants grown up in their youth, And our daughters as corner-stones hewn after the fashion of a palace; | 12 Whose sons are as new plants in their youth: Their daughters decked out, adorned round about after the similitude of a temple: | 12 Because our sons are as plants, Becoming great in their youth, Our daughters as hewn stones, Polished -- the likeness of a palace, | 13 Let our garners be full, furnishing every kind of produce, And our flocks bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields; | 13 That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets: | 13 When our garners are full, affording all manner of store, And our sheep bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields; | 13 Their storehouses full, flowing out of this into that. Their sheep fruitful in young, abounding in their goings forth: | 13 Our garners are full, bringing out from kind to kind, Our flocks are bringing forth thousands, Ten thousands in our out-places, | 14 Let our cattle bear Without mishap and without loss, Let there be no outcry in our streets! | 14 That our oxen may be strong to labour; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets. | 14 When our oxen are well laden; When there is no breaking in, and no going forth, And no outcry in our streets: | 14 their oxen fat. There is no breach of wall, nor passage, nor crying out in their streets. | 14 Our oxen are carrying, there is no breach, And there is no outgoing, And there is no crying in our broad places. | 15 How blessed are the people who are so situated; How blessed are the people whose God is the LORD! | 15 Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD. | 15 Happy is the people that is in such a case; Yea , happy is the people whose God is Jehovah. | 15 They have called the people happy, that hath these things: but happy is that people whose God is the Lord. | 15 O the happiness of the people that is thus, O the happiness of the people whose God is Jehovah! |
