For the choir director. A Psalm of David. A Song. There will be silence before You, and praise in Zion, O God, And to You the vow will be performed.1 Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed.1 Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Zion; And unto thee shall the vow be performed.1 To the end, a psalm of David. The canticle of Jeremias and Ezechiel to the people of the captivity, when they began to go out. A Hymn, O God, becometh thee in Sion: and a vow shall be paid to thee in Jerusalem. 1 To the Overseer. -- A Psalm of David. A Song. To Thee, silence -- praise, O God, is in Zion, And to Thee is a vow completed.
O You who hear prayer, To You all men come.2 O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.2 O thou that hearest prayer, Unto thee shall all flesh come.2 O hear my prayer: all flesh shall come to thee. 2 Hearer of prayer, to Thee all flesh cometh.
Iniquities prevail against me; As for our transgressions, You forgive them.3 Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.3 Iniquities prevail against me: As for our transgressions, thou wilt forgive them.3 The words of the wicked have prevailed over us: and thou wilt pardon our transgressions. 3 Matters of iniquities were mightier than I, Our transgressions -- Thou dost cover them.
How blessed is the one whom You choose and bring near to You To dwell in Your courts. We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple.4 Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.4 Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee , That he may dwell in thy courts: We shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, Thy holy temple.4 Blessed is he whom thou hast chosen and taken to thee: he shall dwell in thy courts. We shall be filled with the good things of thy house; holy is thy temple, 4 O the happiness of him whom Thou choosest, And drawest near, he inhabiteth Thy courts, We are satisfied with the goodness of Thy house, Thy holy temple.
By awesome deeds You answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation, You who are the trust of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest sea;5 By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:5 By terrible things thou wilt answer us in righteousness, Oh God of our salvation, Thou that art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of them that are afar off upon the sea:5 wonderful in justice. Hear us, O God our saviour, who art the hope of all the ends of the earth, and in the sea afar off. 5 By fearful things in righteousness Thou answerest us, O God of our salvation, The confidence of all far off ends of earth and sea.

Who establishes the mountains by His strength, Being girded with might;6 Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power:6 Who by his strength setteth fast the mountains, Being girded about with might;6 Thou who preparest the mountains by thy strength, being girded with power: 6 Establishing mountains by His power, He hath been girded with might,
Who stills the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples.7 Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.7 Who stilleth the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples.7 who troublest the depth of the sea, the noise of its waves. The Gentiles shall be troubled, 7 Restraining the noise of seas, the noise of their billows, And the multitude of the peoples.
They who dwell in the ends of the earth stand in awe of Your signs; You make the dawn and the sunset shout for joy.8 They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.8 They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: Thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.8 and they that dwell in the uttermost borders shall be afraid at thy signs: thou shalt make the outgoings of the morning and of the evening to be joyful. 8 And the inhabitants of the uttermost parts From Thy signs are afraid, The outgoings of morning and evening Thou causest to sing.
You visit the earth and cause it to overflow; You greatly enrich it; The stream of God is full of water; You prepare their grain, for thus You prepare the earth.9 Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.9 Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it, Thou greatly enrichest it; The river of God is full of water: Thou providest them grain, when thou hast so prepared the earth.9 Thou hast visited the earth, and hast plentifully watered it; thou hast many ways enriched it. The river of God is filled with water, thou hast prepared their food: for so is its preparation. 9 Thou hast inspected the earth, and waterest it, Thou makest it very rich, the rivulet of God is full of water, Thou preparest their corn, When thus Thou dost prepare it,
You water its furrows abundantly, You settle its ridges, You soften it with showers, You bless its growth.10 Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.10 Thou waterest its furrows abundantly; Thou settlest the ridges thereof: Thou makest it soft with showers; Thou blessest the springing thereof.10 Fill up plentifully the streams thereof, multiply its fruits; it shall spring up and rejoice in its showers. 10 Its ridges have been filled, Deepened hath been its furrow, With showers Thou dost soften it, Its springing up Thou blessest.

The pastures of the wilderness drip, And the hills gird themselves with rejoicing.12 They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.12 They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness; And the hills are girded with joy.12 The beautiful places of the wilderness shall grow fat: and the hills shall be girded about with joy, 12 Drop do the pastures of a wilderness, And joy of the heights Thou girdest on.
The meadows are clothed with flocks And the valleys are covered with grain; They shout for joy, yes, they sing.13 The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.13 The pastures are clothed with flocks; The valleys also are covered over with grain; They shout for joy, they also sing. 13 The rams of the flock are clothed, and the vales shall abound with corn: they shall shout, yea they shall sing a hymn. 13 Clothed have lambs the flock, And valleys are covered with corn, They shout -- yea, they sing!
