Israel’s Future Blessing
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
1 Return, O Israel, to the LORD your God, For you have stumbled because of your iniquity.1 O israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.1 O Israel, return unto Jehovah thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.1 Return, O Israel, to the Lord thy God: for thou hast fallen down by thy iniquity. 1 Turn back, O Israel, unto Jehovah thy God, For thou hast stumbled by thine iniquity.
2 Take words with you and return to the LORD. Say to Him, "Take away all iniquity And receive us graciously, That we may present the fruit of our lips.2 Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.2 Take with you words, and return unto Jehovah: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and accept that which is good: so will we render as bullocks the offering of our lips.2 Take with you words, and return to the Lord, and say to him: Take away all iniquity, and receive the good: and we will render the calves of our lips. 2 Take with you words, and turn to Jehovah, Say ye unto Him: 'Take away all iniquity, and give good, And we do render the fruit of our lips.
3 "Assyria will not save us, We will not ride on horses; Nor will we say again, 'Our god,' To the work of our hands; For in You the orphan finds mercy."3 Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.3 Assyria shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses; neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods; for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.3 Assyria shall not save us, we will not ride upon horses, neither will we say any more: The works of our hands are our gods, for thou wilt have mercy on the fatherless that is in thee. 3 Asshur doth not save us, on a horse we ride not, Nor do we say any more, Our God, to the work of our hands, For in Thee find mercy doth the fatherless.'
4 I will heal their apostasy, I will love them freely, For My anger has turned away from them.4 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.4 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely; for mine anger is turned away from him.4 I will heal their breaches, I will love them freely: for my wrath is turned away from them. 4 I heal their backsliding, I love them freely, For turned back hath Mine anger from him.
5 I will be like the dew to Israel; He will blossom like the lily, And he will take root like the cedars of Lebanon.5 I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.5 I will be as the dew unto Israel; he shall blossom as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.5 I will be as the dew, Israel shall spring as the lily, and his root shall shoot forth as that of Libanus. 5 I am as dew to Israel, he flourisheth as a lily, And he striketh forth his roots as Lebanon.
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
6 His shoots will sprout, And his beauty will be like the olive tree And his fragrance like the cedars of Lebanon.6 His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.6 His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive-tree, and his smell as Lebanon.6 His branches shall spread, and his glory shall be as the olive tree: and his smell as that of Libanus. 6 Go on do his sucklings, And his beauty is as an olive, And he hath fragrance as Lebanon.
7 Those who live in his shadow Will again raise grain, And they will blossom like the vine. His renown will be like the wine of Lebanon.7 They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.7 They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the grain, and blossom as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.7 They shall be converted that sit under his shadow: they shall live upon wheat, and they shall blossom as a vine: his memorial shall be as the wine of Libanus. 7 Return do the dwellers under his shadow, They revive as corn, and flourish as a vine, His memorial is as wine of Lebanon.
8 O Ephraim, what more have I to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after you. I am like a luxuriant cypress; From Me comes your fruit.8 Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.8 Ephraim'shall say , What have I to do any more with idols? I have answered, and will regard him: I am like a green fir-tree; from me is thy fruit found.8 Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I will hear him, and I will make him flourish like a green fir tree: from me is thy fruit found. 8 O Ephraim, what to Me any more with idols? I -- I afflicted, and I cause him to sing: 'I am as a green fir-tree,' From Me is thy fruit found.
9 Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; Whoever is discerning, let him know them. For the ways of the LORD are right, And the righteous will walk in them, But transgressors will stumble in them.9 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.9 Who is wise, that he may understand these things? prudent, that he may know them? for the ways of Jehovah are right, and the just shall walk in them; but transgressors shall fall therein.9 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know these things? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall in them.9 Who is wise, and doth understand these? Prudent, and knoweth them? For upright are the ways of Jehovah, And the righteous go on in them, And the transgressors stumble therein!
