God Praised and Supplicated to Give Victory.A Song, a Psalm of David.
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
1 A Song, a Psalm of David. My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing, I will sing praises, even with my soul.1 O god, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.1 My heart is fixed, O God; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises, even with my glory.1 A canticle of a psalm for David himself. My heart is ready, O God, my heart is ready: I will sing, and will give praise, with my glory. 1 A Song, a Psalm of David. Prepared is my heart, O God, I sing, yea, I sing praise, also my honour.
2 Awake, harp and lyre; I will awaken the dawn!2 Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.2 Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake right early.2 Arise, my glory; arise, psaltery and harp: I will arise in the morning early. 2 Awake, psaltery and harp, I awake the dawn.
3 I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the peoples, And I will sing praises to You among the nations.3 I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.3 I will give thanks unto thee, O Jehovah, among the peoples; And I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.3 I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing unto thee among the populations. 3 I thank Thee among peoples, O Jehovah, And I praise Thee among the nations.
4 For Your lovingkindness is great above the heavens, And Your truth reaches to the skies.4 For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.4 For thy lovingkindness is great above the heavens; And thy truth reacheth unto the skies.4 For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth even unto the clouds. 4 For great above the heavens is Thy kindness, And unto the clouds Thy truth.
5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, And Your glory above all the earth.5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens, And thy glory above all the earth.5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens, and thy glory over all the earth: 5 Be Thou exalted above the heavens, O God, And above all the earth Thy honour.
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
6 That Your beloved may be delivered, Save with Your right hand, and answer me!6 That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.6 That thy beloved may be delivered, Save with thy right hand, and answer us.6 that thy beloved may be delivered. Save with thy right hand and hear me. 6 That Thy beloved ones may be delivered, Save with Thy right hand, and answer us.
7 God has spoken in His holiness: "I will exult, I will portion out Shechem And measure out the valley of Succoth.7 God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.7 God hath spoken in his holiness: I will exult; I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.7 God hath spoken in his holiness. I will rejoice, and I will divide Sichem and I will mete out the vale of tabernacles. 7 God hath spoken in His holiness: I exult, I apportion Shechem, And the valley of Succoth I measure,
8 "Gilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet of My head; Judah is My scepter.8 Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;8 Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the defence of my head; Judah is my sceptre.8 Galaad is mine, and Manasses is mine and Ephraim the protection of my head. Juda is my king: 8 Mine is Gilead, mine is Manasseh, And Ephraim is the strength of my head, Judah is my lawgiver,
9 "Moab is My washbowl; Over Edom I shall throw My shoe; Over Philistia I will shout aloud."9 Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.9 Moab is my washpot; Upon Edom will I cast my shoe; Over Philistia will I shout.9 Moab the pot of my hope. Over Edom I will stretch out my shoe: the aliens are become my friends. 9 Moab is a pot for my washing, Upon Edom I cast my shoe, Over Philistia I shout habitually.
10 Who will bring me into the besieged city? Who will lead me to Edom?10 Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?10 Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who hath led me unto Edom?10 Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom? 10 Who doth bring me in to the fenced city? Who hath led me unto Edom?
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
11 Have not You Yourself, O God, rejected us? And will You not go forth with our armies, O God?11 Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?11 Hast not thou cast us off, O God? And thou goest not forth, O God, with our hosts.11 Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our armies? 11 Hast not Thou, O God, cast us off? And Thou goest not out, O God, with our hosts!
12 Oh give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain.12 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.12 Give us help against the adversary; For vain is the help of man.12 O grant us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. 12 Give to us help from adversity, And vain is the salvation of man.
13 Through God we will do valiantly, And it is He who shall tread down our adversaries.13 Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.13 Through God we shall do valiantly: For he it is that will tread down our adversaries. 13 Through God we shall do mightily: and he will bring our enemies to nothing. 13 In God we do mightily, And He doth tread down our adversaries!
