NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
For the choir director; with stringed instruments, upon an eight-string lyre. A Psalm of David. O LORD, do not rebuke me in Your anger, Nor chasten me in Your wrath.1 O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.1 O Jehovah, rebuke me not in thine anger, Neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.1 Unto the end, in verses, a psalm for David, for the octave. O Lord, rebuke me not in thy indignation, nor chastise me in thy wrath. 1 To the Overseer with stringed instruments, on the octave. -- A Psalm of David. O Jehovah, in Thine anger reprove me not, Nor in Thy fury chastise me.
Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am pining away; Heal me, O LORD, for my bones are dismayed.2 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.2 Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah; for I am withered away: O Jehovah, heal me; for my bones are troubled.2 Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak: heal me, O Lord, for my bones are troubled. 2 Favour me, O Jehovah, for I am weak, Heal me, O Jehovah, For troubled have been my bones,
And my soul is greatly dismayed; But You, O LORD-- how long?3 My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?3 My soul also is sore troubled: And thou, O Jehovah, how long?3 And my soul is troubled exceedingly: but thou, O Lord, how long? 3 And my soul hath been troubled greatly, And Thou, O Jehovah, till when?
Return, O LORD, rescue my soul; Save me because of Your lovingkindness.4 Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake.4 Return, O Jehovah, deliver my soul: Save me for thy lovingkindness'sake.4 Turn to me, O Lord, and deliver my soul: O save me for thy mercy's sake. 4 Turn back, O Jehovah, draw out my soul, Save me for Thy kindness' sake.
For there is no mention of You in death; In Sheol who will give You thanks?5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: In Sheol who shall give thee thanks?5 For there is no one in death, that is mindful of thee: and who shall confess to thee in hell? 5 For there is not in death Thy memorial, In Sheol, who doth give thanks to Thee?
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
I am weary with my sighing; Every night I make my bed swim, I dissolve my couch with my tears.6 I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.6 I am weary with my groaning; Every night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.6 I have laboured in my groanings, every night I will wash my bed: I will water my couch with my tears. 6 I have been weary with my sighing, I meditate through all the night on my bed, With my tear my couch I waste.
My eye has wasted away with grief; It has become old because of all my adversaries.7 Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.7 Mine eye wasteth away because of grief; It waxeth old because of all mine adversaries.7 My eye is troubled through indignation: I have grown old amongst all my enemies. 7 Old from provocation is mine eye, It is old because of all mine adversaries,
Depart from me, all you who do iniquity, For the LORD has heard the voice of my weeping.8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; For Jehovah hath heard the voice of my weeping.8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity: for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping. 8 Turn from me all ye workers of iniquity, For Jehovah heard the voice of my weeping,
The LORD has heard my supplication, The LORD receives my prayer.9 The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.9 Jehovah hath heard my supplication; Jehovah will receive my prayer.9 The Lord hath heard my supplication: the Lord hath received my prayer. 9 Jehovah hath heard my supplication, Jehovah my prayer receiveth.
All my enemies will be ashamed and greatly dismayed; They shall turn back, they will suddenly be ashamed.10 Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.10 All mine enemies shall be put to shame and sore troubled: They shall turn back, they shall be put to shame suddenly. 10 Let all my enemies be ashamed, and be very much troubled: let them be turned back, and be ashamed very speedily. 10 Ashamed and troubled greatly are all mine enemies, They turn back -- ashamed in a moment!
