NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
A Psalm of Asaph. O God, the nations have invaded Your inheritance; They have defiled Your holy temple; They have laid Jerusalem in ruins.1 O god, the heathen are come into thine inheritance; thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.1 O God, the nations are come into thine inheritance; Thy holy temple have they defiled; They have laid Jerusalem in heaps.1 A psalm for Asaph. O God, the heathens are come into thy inheritance, they have defiled thy holy temple: they have made Jerusalem as a place to keep fruit. 1 A Psalm of Asaph. O God, nations have come into Thy inheritance, They have defiled Thy holy temple, They made Jerusalem become heaps,
They have given the dead bodies of Your servants for food to the birds of the heavens, The flesh of Your godly ones to the beasts of the earth.2 The dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth.2 The dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be food unto the birds of the heavens, The flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth.2 They have given the dead bodies of thy servants to be meat for the fowls of the air: the flesh of thy saints for the beasts of the earth. 2 They gave the dead bodies of Thy servants Food for the fowls of the heavens, The flesh of Thy saints For the wild beast of the earth.
They have poured out their blood like water round about Jerusalem; And there was no one to bury them.3 Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them.3 Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; And there was none to bury them.3 They have poured out their blood as water, round about Jerusalem and there was none to bury them. 3 They have shed their blood As water round about Jerusalem, And there is none burying.
We have become a reproach to our neighbors, A scoffing and derision to those around us.4 We are become a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us.4 We are become a reproach to our neighbors, A scoffing and derision to them that are round about us.4 We are become a reproach to our neighbours: a scorn and derision to them that are round about us. 4 We have been a reproach to our neighbours, A scorn and a derision to our surrounders.
How long, O LORD? Will You be angry forever? Will Your jealousy burn like fire?5 How long, LORD? wilt thou be angry for ever? shall thy jealousy burn like fire?5 How long, O Jehovah? wilt thou be angry for ever? Shall thy jealousy burn like fire?5 How long, O Lord, wilt thou be angry for ever: shall thy zeal be kindled like a fire? 5 Till when, O Jehovah? art Thou angry for ever? Thy jealousy doth burn as fire.
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
Pour out Your wrath upon the nations which do not know You, And upon the kingdoms which do not call upon Your name.6 Pour out thy wrath upon the heathen that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon thy name.6 Pour out thy wrath upon the nations that know thee not, And upon the kingdoms that call not upon thy name.6 Pour out thy wrath upon the nations that have not known thee: and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon thy name. 6 Pour Thy fury on the nations who have not known Thee, And on kingdoms that have not called in Thy name.
For they have devoured Jacob And laid waste his habitation.7 For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his dwelling place.7 For they have devoured Jacob, And laid waste his habitation.7 Because they have devoured Jacob; and have laid waste his place. 7 For one hath devoured Jacob, And his habitation they have made desolate.
Do not remember the iniquities of our forefathers against us; Let Your compassion come quickly to meet us, For we are brought very low.8 O remember not against us former iniquities: let thy tender mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low.8 Remember not against us the iniquities of our forefathers: Let thy tender mercies speedily meet us; For we are brought very low.8 Remember not our former iniquities: let thy mercies speedily prevent us, for we are become exceeding poor. 8 Remember not for us the iniquities of forefathers, Haste, let Thy mercies go before us, For we have been very weak.
Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of Your name; And deliver us and forgive our sins for Your name's sake.9 Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.9 Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name; And deliver us, and forgive our sins, for thy name's sake.9 Help us, O God, our saviour: and for the glory of thy name, O Lord, deliver us: and forgive us our sins for thy name's sake: 9 Help us, O God of our salvation, Because of the honour of Thy name, And deliver us, and cover over our sins, For Thy name's sake.
Why should the nations say, "Where is their God?" Let there be known among the nations in our sight, Vengeance for the blood of Your servants which has been shed.10 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God? let him be known among the heathen in our sight by the revenging of the blood of thy servants which is shed.10 Wherefore should the nations say, Where is their God? Let the avenging of the blood of thy servants which is shed Be known among the nations in our sight.10 Lest they should say among the Gentiles: Where is their God? And let him be made known among the nations before our eyes, By the revenging the blood of thy servants, which hath been shed: 10 Why do the nations say, 'Where is their God?' Let be known among the nations before our eyes, The vengeance of the blood of Thy servants that is shed.
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
Let the groaning of the prisoner come before You; According to the greatness of Your power preserve those who are doomed to die.11 Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die;11 Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee: According to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to death;11 let the sighing of the prisoners come in before thee. According to the greatness of thy arm, take possession of the children of them that have been put to death. 11 Let the groaning of the prisoner come in before Thee, According to the greatness of Thine arm, Leave Thou the sons of death.
And return to our neighbors sevenfold into their bosom The reproach with which they have reproached You, O Lord.12 And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord.12 And render unto our neighbors sevenfold into their bosom Their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord.12 And render to our neighbours sevenfold in their bosom: the reproach wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord. 12 And turn Thou back to our neighbours, Sevenfold unto their bosom, their reproach, Wherewith they reproached Thee, O Lord.
So we Your people and the sheep of Your pasture Will give thanks to You forever; To all generations we will tell of Your praise.13 So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations.13 So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture Will give thee thanks for ever: We will show forth thy praise to all generations. 13 But we thy people, and the sheep of thy pasture, will give thanks to thee for ever. We will shew forth thy praise, unto generation and generation. 13 And we, Thy people, and the flock of Thy pasture, We give thanks to Thee to the age, To all generations we recount Thy praise!
