The Word of Faith Brings Salvation
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
1 Brethren, my heart's desire and my prayer to God for them is for their salvation.1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.1 Brethren, my heart's desire and my supplication to God is for them, that they may be saved.1 BRETHREN, the will of my heart, indeed, and my prayer to God, is for them unto salvation. 1 Brethren, the pleasure indeed of my heart, and my supplication that is to God for Israel, is -- for salvation;
2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not in accordance with knowledge.2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.2 For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.2 For I bear them witness, that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 2 for I bear them testimony that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge,
3 For not knowing about God's righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.3 For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.3 For they, not knowing the justice of God, and seeking to establish their own, have not submitted themselves to the justice of God. 3 for not knowing the righteousness of God, and their own righteousness seeking to establish, to the righteousness of God they did not submit.
4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.4 For Christ is the end of the law unto righteousness to every one that believeth.4 For the end of the law is Christ, unto justice to every one that believeth. 4 For Christ is an end of law for righteousness to every one who is believing,
5 For Moses writes that the man who practices the righteousness which is based on law shall live by that righteousness.5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.5 For Moses writeth that the man that doeth the righteousness which is of the law shall live thereby.5 For Moses wrote, that the justice which is of the law, the man that shall do it, shall live by it. 5 for Moses doth describe the righteousness that is of the law, that, 'The man who did them shall live in them,'
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
6 But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: "DO NOT SAY IN YOUR HEART, 'WHO WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN?' (that is, to bring Christ down),6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)6 But the righteousness which is of faith saith thus, Say not in thy heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down:)6 But the justice which is of faith, speaketh thus: Say not in thy heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? that is, to bring Christ down; 6 and the righteousness of faith doth thus speak: 'Thou mayest not say in thine heart, Who shall go up to the heaven,' that is, Christ to bring down?
7 or 'WHO WILL DESCEND INTO THE ABYSS?' (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead)."7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)7 or, Who shall descend into the abyss? (That is, to bring Christ up from the dead.)7 Or who shall descend into the deep? that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead. 7 or, 'Who shall go down to the abyss,' that is, Christ out of the dead to bring up.
8 But what does it say? "THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART "-- that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach:8 But what saith the scripture? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart. This is the word of faith, which we preach. 8 But what doth it say? 'Nigh thee is the saying -- in thy mouth, and in thy heart:' that is, the saying of the faith, that we preach;
9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.9 because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved:9 For if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thy heart that God hath raised him up from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 9 that if thou mayest confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and mayest believe in thy heart that God did raise him out of the dead, thou shalt be saved,
10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.10 for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.10 For, with the heart, we believe unto justice; but, with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. 10 for with the heart doth one believe to righteousness, and with the mouth is confession made to salvation;
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
11 For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED."11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be put to shame.11 For the scripture saith: Whosoever believeth in him, shall not be confounded. 11 for the Writing saith, 'Every one who is believing on him shall not be ashamed,'
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him;12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek: for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich unto all that call upon him:12 For there is no distinction of the Jew and the Greek: for the same is Lord over all, rich unto all that call upon him. 12 for there is no difference between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord of all is rich to all those calling upon Him,
13 for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.13 for, Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved. 13 for every one -- whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, he shall be saved.'
14 How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?14 How then shall they call on him, in whom they have not believed? Or how shall they believe him, of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear, without a preacher? 14 How then shall they call upon him in whom they did not believe? and how shall they believe on him of whom they did not hear? and how shall they hear apart from one preaching?
15 How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, "HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!"15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!15 and how shall they preach, except they be sent? even as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that bring glad tidings of good things!15 And how shall they preach unless they be sent, as it is written: How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, of them that bring glad tidings of good things! 15 and how shall they preach, if they may not be sent? according as it hath been written, 'How beautiful the feet of those proclaiming good tidings of peace, of those proclaiming good tidings of the good things!'
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
16 However, they did not all heed the good news; for Isaiah says, "LORD, WHO HAS BELIEVED OUR REPORT?"16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?16 But they did not all hearken to the glad tidings. For Isaiah saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?16 But all do not obey the gospel. For Isaias saith: Lord, who hath believed our report? 16 But they were not all obedient to the good tidings, for Isaiah saith, 'Lord, who did give credence to our report?'
17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.17 So belief cometh of hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.17 Faith then cometh by hearing; and hearing by the word of Christ. 17 so then the faith is by a report, and the report through a saying of God,
18 But I say, surely they have never heard, have they? Indeed they have; "THEIR VOICE HAS GONE OUT INTO ALL THE EARTH, AND THEIR WORDS TO THE ENDS OF THE WORLD."18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.18 But I say, Did they not hear? Yea, verily, Their sound went out into all the earth, And their words unto the ends of the world.18 But I say: Have they not heard? Yes, verily, their sound hath gone forth into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the whole world. 18 but I say, Did they not hear? yes, indeed -- 'to all the earth their voice went forth, and to the ends of the habitable world their sayings.'
19 But I say, surely Israel did not know, did they? First Moses says, "I WILL MAKE YOU JEALOUS BY THAT WHICH IS NOT A NATION, BY A NATION WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING WILL I ANGER YOU."19 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.19 But I say, Did Israel not know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy with that which is no nation, With a nation void of understanding will I anger you.19 But I say: Hath not Israel known? First, Moses saith: I will provoke you to jealousy by that which is not a nation; by a foolish nation I will anger you. 19 But I say, Did not Israel know? first Moses saith, 'I will provoke you to jealousy by that which is not a nation; by an unintelligent nation I will anger you,'
20 And Isaiah is very bold and says, "I WAS FOUND BY THOSE WHO DID NOT SEEK ME, I BECAME MANIFEST TO THOSE WHO DID NOT ASK FOR ME."20 But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.20 And Isaiah is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I became manifest unto them that asked not of me.20 But Isaias is bold, and saith: I was found by them that did not seek me: I appeared openly to them that asked not after me. 20 and Isaiah is very bold, and saith, 'I was found by those not seeking Me; I became manifest to those not inquiring after Me;'
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
21 But as for Israel He says, "ALL THE DAY LONG I HAVE STRETCHED OUT MY HANDS TO A DISOBEDIENT AND OBSTINATE PEOPLE."21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.21 But as to Israel he saith, All the day long did I spread out my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.21 But to Israel he saith: All the day long have I spread my hands to a people that believeth not, and contradicteth me. 21 and unto Israel He saith, 'All the day I did stretch out My hands unto a people unbelieving and gainsaying.'
