Instructions and Greetings
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I directed the churches of Galatia, so do you also.1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I gave order to the churches of Galatia, so also do ye.1 NOW concerning the collections that are made for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, so do ye also. 1 And concerning the collection that is for the saints, as I directed to the assemblies of Galatia, so also ye -- do ye;
 On the first day of every week each one of you is to put aside and save, as he may prosper, so that no collections be made when I come.2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.2 Upon the first day of the week let each one of you lay by him in store, as he may prosper, that no collections be made when I come.2 On the first day of the week let every one of you put apart with himself, laying up what it shall well please him; that when I come, the collections be not then to be made. 2 on every first day of the week, let each one of you lay by him, treasuring up whatever he may have prospered, that when I may come then collections may not be made;
 When I arrive, whomever you may approve, I will send them with letters to carry your gift to Jerusalem;3 And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.3 And when I arrive, whomsoever ye shall approve, them will I send with letters to carry your bounty unto Jerusalem:3 And when I shall be with you, whomsoever you shall approve by letters, them will I send to carry your grace to Jerusalem. 3 and whenever I may come, whomsoever ye may approve, through letters, these I will send to carry your favour to Jerusalem;
 and if it is fitting for me to go also, they will go with me.4 And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.4 and if it be meet for me to go also, they shall go with me.4 And if it be meet that I also go, they shall go with me. 4 and if it be meet for me also to go, with me they shall go.
 But I will come to you after I go through Macedonia, for I am going through Macedonia;5 Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia.5 But I will come unto you, when I shall have passed through Macedonia; for I pass through Macedonia;5 Now I will come to you, when I shall have passed through Macedonia. For I shall pass through Macedonia. 5 And I will come unto you, when I pass through Macedonia -- for Macedonia I do pass through --
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
 and perhaps I will stay with you, or even spend the winter, so that you may send me on my way wherever I may go.6 And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.6 but with you it may be that I shall abide, or even winter, that ye may set me forward on my journey whithersoever I go.6 And with you perhaps I shall abide, or even spend the winter: that you may bring me on my way whithersoever I shall go. 6 and with you, it may be, I will abide, or even winter, that ye may send me forward whithersoever I go,
 For I do not wish to see you now just in passing; for I hope to remain with you for some time, if the Lord permits.7 For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.7 For I do not wish to see you now by the way; for I hope to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.7 For I will not see you now by the way, for I trust that I shall abide with you some time, if the Lord permit. 7 for I do not wish to see you now in the passing, but I hope to remain a certain time with you, if the Lord may permit;
 But I will remain in Ephesus until Pentecost;8 But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.8 But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost;8 But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost. 8 and I will remain in Ephesus till the Pentecost,
 for a wide door for effective service has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.9 For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.9 for a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.9 For a great door and evident is opened unto me: and many adversaries. 9 for a door to me hath been opened -- great and effectual -- and withstanders are many.
 Now if Timothy comes, see that he is with you without cause to be afraid, for he is doing the Lord's work, as I also am.10 Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.10 Now if Timothy come, see that he be with you without fear; for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do:10 Now if Timothy come, see that he be with you without fear, for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do. 10 And if Timotheus may come, see that he may become without fear with you, for the work of the Lord he doth work, even as I,
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
 So let no one despise him. But send him on his way in peace, so that he may come to me; for I expect him with the brethren.11 Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.11 let no man therefore despise him. But set him forward on his journey in peace, that he may come unto me: for I expect him with the brethren.11 Let no man therefore despise him, but conduct ye him on his way in peace: that he may come to me. For I look for him with the breatheren. 11 no one, then, may despise him; and send ye him forward in peace, that he may come to me, for I expect him with the brethren;
 But concerning Apollos our brother, I encouraged him greatly to come to you with the brethren; and it was not at all his desire to come now, but he will come when he has opportunity.12 As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.12 But as touching Apollos the brother, I besought him much to come unto you with the brethren: and it was not all his will to come now; but he will come when he shall have opportunity.12 And touching our brother Apollo, I give you to understand, that I much entreated him to come unto you with the breatheren: and indeed it was not his will at all to come at this time. But he will come when he shall have leisure. 12 and concerning Apollos our brother, much I did entreat him that he may come unto you with the brethren, and it was not at all his will that he may come now, and he will come when he may find convenient.
 Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith,do manfully, and be strengthened. 13 Watch ye, stand in the faith; be men, be strong;
 Let all that you do be done in love.14 Let all your things be done with charity.14 Let all that ye do be done in love.14 Let all your things be done in charity. 14 let all your things be done in love.
 Now I urge you, brethren (you know the household of Stephanas, that they were the first fruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves for ministry to the saints),15 I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)15 Now I beseech you, brethren (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have set themselves to minister unto the saints),15 And I beseech you, brethren, you know the house of Stephanas, and of Fortunatus, and of Achaicus, that they are the firstfruits of Achaia, and have dedicated themselves to the ministry of the saints: 15 And I entreat you, brethren, ye have known the household of Stephanas, that it is the first-fruit of Achaia, and to the ministration to the saints they did set themselves --
NASBKJVASVDRBYLT
 that you also be in subjection to such men and to everyone who helps in the work and labors.16 That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.16 that ye also be in subjection unto such, and to every one that helpeth in the work and laboreth.16 That you also be subject to such, and to every one that worketh with us, and laboureth. 16 that ye also be subject to such, and to every one who is working with us and labouring;
 I rejoice over the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus, because they have supplied what was lacking on your part.17 I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied.17 And I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they supplied.17 And I rejoice in the presence of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus, because that which was wanting on your part, they have supplied. 17 and I rejoice over the presence of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus, because the lack of you did these fill up;
 For they have refreshed my spirit and yours. Therefore acknowledge such men.18 For they have refreshed my spirit and your's: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.18 For they refreshed my spirit and yours: acknowledge ye therefore them that are such.18 For they have refreshed both my spirit and yours. Know them, therefore, that are such. 18 for they did refresh my spirit and yours; acknowledge ye, therefore, those who are such.
 The churches of Asia greet you. Aquila and Prisca greet you heartily in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Prisca salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house, with whom I also lodge. 19 Salute you do the assemblies of Asia; salute you much in the Lord do Aquilas and Priscilla, with the assembly in their house;
 All the brethren greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss.20 All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with an holy kiss.20 All the brethren salute you. Salute one another with a holy kiss.20 All the brethren salute you. Salute one another with a holy kiss. 20 salute you do all the brethren; salute ye one another in an holy kiss.
